Ever felt that your prospects are trying to play with you and check you for your emotional quotient? In today's blog post I share How to Keep the Right Business Posture
What do you mean by Posture?
Alright, so the right business posture definition that I have learned from Ray Higdon is what I am going to share with you. Posture means Not Seeking External Acceptance. This means that one is not looking for people to say “Honey, I am with you in your tiny little home business.” It is that state of mind where one is not concerned with the outcome.
So if someone says a YES to your opportunity or a NO, it should not bother you. However, if it does, there is some work required to be done with your mindset.
Aman, you mean to say that without posturing, building a business is impossible?
I don't know whether it is impossible or not. I don't have any authority to say something on the same. However, not treating your business as a $500 million business will certainly make you behave in a different way(which is NOT POWERFUL!)
It can be anything from sounding weak, needy, desperate and even pleading. So many network marketers are prospecting people but they are not treating their business as a multi-million dollar business. IF one does, their language will change. Their posture will completely alter their results as now more people will start getting attracted to this individual because he/she is not crying like a baby if their prospect said a NO.
Having good posture in business will give a perception to people that I have missed out on something since HE/SHE won't stop moving ahead. And people are generally attracted to people who know where they are going. Having posture is essential in Network Marketing business because, if not, it gives a bad name about our industry to people and most people think that they will also have to “convince” people to join their business. This puts our industry, which is already fighting to gain a ‘reputed name' in the world, to bad name and this will only change if each network marketer makes it a goal to become a PRO and makes it their responsibility to raise the vibration of the industry.
