Fear of Network Marketers while Prospecting
The common fear when a network marketer prospects is NOT knowing how to prospect strangers in network marketing. And because of this, most of them never go out of their comfort zone and reach out to people. Well, that is selfish of you. As my mentor Ray Higdon says, you not reaching out to people thinking what will they think about you if you fumble or make a mistake is you being selfish. Why? Because you value yourself more than helping people. I know it sounds harsh. But it is true. There are many people who have created large teams while they were still learning the skills to recruit people. They knew that they are getting paid to practice. So how does it matter if they make a mistake? What is the Most Common MLM Prospecting Mistake?
So now, let me tell you what is the most common mistake network marketers make. This happens mostly by people who are new to MLM or people who are not getting trained properly. (By the way, do you struggle with NOT having the right training systems in your company? If yes, consider watching this video that helps you to know how to become a top earner in your company) They, make these mistakes because of not having the right mindset. And because of that, they keep asking wrong network marketing prospecting questions. As a result, what they get is people asking questions like “How much have you made till now?”, “How big is your team?” etc.
What you have to do is fairly simple. But MOST networkers do not know this in the first place, forget about them following it. Asking good quality questions is important but what I am about to share in the video below is CRITICAL. Not understanding this concept is not considering your time to be your most important asset.
